Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead medium to large drinking water and wastewater projects in HDR’s Florida Water Business Group.

The role involves managing teams of engineers and CAD professionals, interfacing with clients, and delivering planning documents, design reports, and cost estimates. The ideal candidate has a PE license, 7+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan, manage, direct and monitor medium to large drinking water and wastewater projects.
• Interface with clients while leading engineers and CAD staff to develop planning documents and cost estimates.
• Develop design criteria, schematics and design reports.
• Oversee production of design drawings and QA/QC plans.
• Support business development including pursuit planning and proposals.
• Collaborate across Florida with leadership and staff to maintain HDR’s delivery standards.
