Job summary

AECOM in Virginia Beach is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead engineering design projects in sanitary sewer, pumping stations, and water distribution. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across Hampton Roads and northern Virginia.

Ideal candidate has a BS and PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months, plus experience managing complex water/wastewater projects and business development.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related degree with 8 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer's License or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience managing engineering design projects for sanitary sewer systems, pumping stations, water distribution, and related facilities.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite, Sharepoint, Unifier, e-Builder, CM14, and P6 Scheduling Software.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of water/wastewater projects.
• May supervise mid to junior engineers and project administration staff.
• Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Develops detailed project plans and monitors progress.
• Prepares construction cost estimates and technical specifications.

Education

BS Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering or related degree

Professional Engineer's License or ability to obtain within 12 months
