Job summary

McKee Utility Contractors is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a project in the Austin/San Marcos, TX area. The role involves overseeing water and wastewater construction, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, with strong stakeholder communication skills and proficiency in Primavera P6. Relocation and site coordination may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in civil/structural disciplines or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in water and wastewater construction or equivalent.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Use Primavera P6 to monitor timelines and milestones.
• Procure materials and scopes of work for project execution.
• Maintain as-built documentation as the project progresses.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed on the project.
• Monitor, review and document work in progress regularly.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities.
• Prepare and submit daily logs and periodic progress reports.
