Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within our Industrial Business unit. You will serve as the main point of contact for planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater projects and help with business development across the U.S.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree, 10 years of related experience, and PMI, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months. Travel up to 10% is expected; a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of related experience in project management.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency dependent on duties.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Manager for water/wastewater projects in the Industrial sector.
• Provide technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring to engineering staff.
• Own scope, schedule, and budget development and adherence for projects.
• Perform QA/QC on key deliverables and assist others on projects.
• Assist Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients nationwide.
• Participate in professional societies relevant to the industry.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships with key decision makers.
