Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water/wastewater projects within our Industrial Business unit. You will serve as the main contact for planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater initiatives, supporting business development throughout the U.S.

This hybrid role requires a minimum of two days in the office and can be based at multiple industrial offices nationwide. Travel up to 10% may be required to serve clients across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our water/wastewater design capabilities.
• Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed.
• Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others in the office.
• Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients throughout the U.S.
• Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients’ organizations.
