Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within our Industrial Business unit. You will be the main point of contact for planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater initiatives across the United States.

The role is hybrid, with two in-office days per week and travel up to 10%. You will mentor engineering staff, manage scope, schedule and budgets, ensure QA/QC, and support business development with technical marketing to clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10 years of related experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering staff.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budgets for assigned projects.
• Ensure QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on others' projects.
• Support client service leaders with technical marketing nationwide.
• Engage in professional societies and build client relationships.
• Collaborate with key decision makers in client organizations.
