Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Houston, TX office, supporting the design and delivery of critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will lead planning, design, and execution with multidisciplinary teams to take projects from concept through construction, while building leadership and client-facing capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
5 years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field.
PE License in Texas (or ability to obtain TX PE within 6 months).

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and teams to ensure high-quality, on-time, and profitable delivery.
Collaborate with clients, Area Leaders, and Account Leaders to define project scope, develop fee estimates, and manage risk.
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and client engagement strategies.
Mentor and support junior engineers while upholding strong quality, safety, and technical excellence standards.
