Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Civil Engineer IV to join the Water/Wastewater group in Oklahoma City, OK. This senior role requires leading complex municipal water and wastewater projects, with responsibility for design, permitting, and construction-phase services.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited degree and a PE license, with 5–8 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, and a track record of technical leadership and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license (Oklahoma or ability to obtain by reciprocity).
• 5–8 years of progressively responsible engineering experience in municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Experience with water/wastewater facilities, lift stations, pumps, and distribution systems.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulatory permitting and Oklahoma infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts for municipal water and wastewater facilities.
• Lead process engineering evaluations and capacity analyses.
• Analyze complex design problems and define technical approaches.
• Provide staffing recommendations and project scope definitions.
• Review plans, specs, and cost estimates for accuracy.
• Coordinate with construction for constructability and sequencing.
• Serve as technical lead during construction and review submittals.
• Monitor QA/QC, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Prepare planning documents and regulatory submittals.
• Support proposals, client presentations, and business development.
• Represent projects at client and public meetings.
• Plan and supervise multi-discipline design activities.
• Mentor engineers and CAD staff.
