Ardurra Group, Inc. in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our staff.

The role focuses on planning, design, construction administration, and possibly management of multidiscipline projects for municipal clients in the Southeast. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering, has 4–10 years of municipal water/wastewater experience, and an Engineer in Training (EIT) credential; Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• 4–10 years of experience within municipal water/wastewater and/or public works field engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Understanding of water treatment/distribution and wastewater collection/treatment principles and state regulations is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water/wastewater storage and conveyance systems.
• Perform engineering/process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects or manage these activities.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants for multi-discipline projects.
• Coordinate data gathering for engineering analyses and perform calculations to support designs.
• Prepare engineering reports, opinions and recommendations; maintain project files and document control.
• Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, material quantity take-offs and develop construction cost estimates.
