Job summary

GFT seeks a Senior Project Manager, Water to join our Southern California Water/Wastewater Team. The position follows a hybrid model with offices including Los Angeles, Irvine, Chino Hills, Ontario, Long Beach, Santa Ana, or San Diego.

You will lead engineering efforts, mentor PMs, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex water projects. The role requires a California-licensed PE, a BS in civil engineering, and 15+ years delivering water/wastewater programs on time and within

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of California.
• 15+ years of experience managing substantial water and wastewater projects.
• Demonstrated strong project management skills.
• Track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, budgets, and client agreements.
• Lead and oversee design and technical aspects of projects including detailed engineering design and calculations.
• Write responses to client RFQs and Solicitations.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and officials.
• Coordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules.
• Participate in developing design and production standards.
• Direct and manage project implementation with stakeholders and contractors.
• Oversee construction phases to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Support client marketing and business development activities for proposals.
• Mentor staff and lead development of other PMs.
