Job summary

Trinity River Authority of Texas is seeking an Operator III to monitor water/wastewater plant operations, interpret lab data, and adjust processes for optimal performance. The role requires a valid Texas license and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; 60 college credits preferred or equivalent technical education.
• Must have completed all classes required for TCEQ B Treatment Plant Operator license.
• Proven ability to monitor and adjust water/wastewater processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operations by observation, instrumentation and lab results; take corrective actions.
• Make process adjustments to predetermined parameters and operate equipment as needed.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance and report issues; ensure safe, compliant plant operation.
• Oversee SCADA monitored flows and treatment conditions; collect and interpret samples.
