City of Savannah is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment in its water and wastewater treatment plants. You will regularly inspect pumps, motors, chlorinators, and related machinery to prevent failures and keep systems running.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with four years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater treatment plant equipment.
• Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving history.

Mansioni

• Inspects mechanical equipment, evaluates performance, and recommends maintenance.
• Installs, services, maintains, and repairs pumps, motors, chlorinators, and related equipment.
• Maintains lift stations and operates crane truck when required.
• Reads blueprints and fabricates repairs; operates hydraulic and pneumatic tools.
