Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Lead Operator in Texas to train and oversee daily activities of Operators and solve complex operations problems at water/wastewater facilities. You will manage safety, SOP adherence, and client communication while guiding staff in operations and maintenance tasks.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 5–7 years of water/wastewater experience and supervisory background. A Water/Wastewater license and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 5–7 years water/wastewater experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred). Water/Wastewater license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and maintenance of water/wastewater facilities.
• Trains and directs Operators; assigns work and provides technical guidance.
• Ensures SOPs, DOT, OSHA, and permit requirements are met; improves procedures.
• Interfaces with Operations Manager and laboratories for safety and QA/QC.
• Communicates technical aspects to clients and responds to inquiries.
• Mentors staff on plant operations, repairs, and safe practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
