Job summary

Olsson invites an experienced Water and Sewer Modeling Senior Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater team. The role focuses on hydraulic modeling, master planning, and delivering designs from conception through completion in diverse project environments.

You will perform engineering analyses, support CAD/modeling tasks, and contribute to reports and client meetings. The position emphasizes collaboration, quality, and client satisfaction within a national firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience with water and sewer modeling software such as InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, InfoWater Pro, and/or WaterCAD.
• Strong understanding of open channel and closed pipe hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Provides high‑level project design and review of project documents and design quality for complex projects.
• Performs QA/QC and ensures delivery of completed designs meets quality standards and project objectives.
• Advises and directs staff on design approaches to fulfill project requirements.
• Helps build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure projects meet client expectations.
