Job summary

Donohue & Associates, a national water/wastewater expert with a regional footprint, seeks an experienced engineer to grow its Illinois market share through client and project interactions.

You will acquire new clients, maintain relationships, and lead multi-discipline teams through planning, design, construction, and operational services, with opportunities to manage projects and contribute to engineering excellence in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• M.S. or B.S. in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• PE registration.
• Client-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven project management and budgeting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design water and wastewater systems as a technical resource.
• Identify and pursue strategic clients to grow Illinois and nearby states.
• Lead client relationship-building to understand challenges and capture institutional knowledge.
• Serve as Project Manager when needed, directing multi-discipline teams to meet budgets and schedules.
• Provide QC reviews in area of technical expertise.
• Engage in professional organizations to raise Donohue's profile.
