Job summary

Donohue & Associates, a national water/wastewater engineering firm with a small-company environment, seeks an accomplished engineer to grow the water and wastewater market through client and project interactions.

You will acquire new clients and nurture existing relationships while collaborating with Donohue project teams across planning, design, construction and operational services to deliver value and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires MS/BS in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Client-focused with established relationships in Wisconsin market (or similarly regional markets).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design water and wastewater systems as a technical resource.
• Identify and pursue strategic target clients to drive growth across Wisconsin and neighboring states.
• Lead relationship-building with clients; understand challenges and relay insights to winning and executing projects.
• Champion client interests while adhering to contractual commitments and Donohue values.
• Provide input to ensure proposals address client concerns, objectives, and goals.
• Serve as Project Manager when needed; direct multi-discipline teams to meet budget and schedule.
• Perform quality control reviews within technical areas of expertise.
• Actively engage in professional organizations and industry events to raise Donohue's profile.
