Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to join our Oklahoma City team. You will pursue and plan water and wastewater infrastructure projects, develop accurate estimates, and collaborate with operations and project management from bid through handoff.

The role requires knowledge of water/wastewater construction, self-performed work, and the ability to evaluate scope, constructability, risk, and cost—not just perform takeoffs.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating water/wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with self-performed structural concrete and/or heavy civil construction.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong quantity takeoff, cost analysis, and scope review skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater facilities and related infrastructure.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Evaluate phasing, sequencing, and constructability.
• Develop preliminary schedules to support estimating.
• Identify risks, value-engineering ideas, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead bid reviews with operations and project management.
• Prepare detailed project budgets and handoffs to the project team.
• Support subcontractor buyout after award.
