Job summary

Merrick & Company is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join the Water Group for Colorado and Texas projects. You will lead design efforts for water, wastewater, and reuse systems, with BioWin modeling expertise and experience in pipelines and pump stations.

The role requires leading project teams, interfacing with clients and government agencies, and occasionally traveling. Local/regional candidates are preferred with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
Minimum 12 years designing and overseeing water/wastewater projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in CO and/or TX.
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze water and wastewater facilities, including advanced treatment and nutrient removal using BioWin.
Prepare drawings, details, layouts, cost estimates, studies, and reports.
Provide construction support, oversight, and startup assistance for treatment plants.
