Merrick & Company is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on water and wastewater projects from our Colorado offices in Denver, Greenwood Village, Colorado Springs, or Loveland. The role emphasizes winning and delivering complex projects.

Hybrid schedule preferred; some travel to client sites and local offices is required. The successful candidate will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and client relations while mentoring staff and coordinating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• 20+ years infrastructure engineering experience with 15+ years in Project Management.
• Colorado PE license.
• Strong technical design experience in water and wastewater projects.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and be insurable under Merrick's insurance carrier.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Travel required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a multi-discipline design team on water and wastewater projects.
• Provide input to strategic planning for the team and work with Business Unit management on growth, delivery, staffing and financial performance.
• Adopt and apply Merrick policies and procedures on assignments.
• Work closely with clients to describe and deliver scope of work.
• Prepare and oversee fee proposals for water and wastewater design work.
• Lead design teams and review designs, prepare construction documents, and manage delivery of projects.
• Exercise initiative, judgment, and knowledge commensurate with responsibilities.
• Interface with clients and community members effectively.
