SGM seeks an experienced Wastewater Engineer for our Glenwood Springs, Colorado office. The candidate will lead water and wastewater facilities design and planning projects, oversee startup operations, and work on hydraulic modeling while ensuring compliance with SDWA and other regulations.

Qualifications

• Colorado PE license required.
• Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• WTF/WWTF Operator License.
• Integrated project delivery experience (CMAR, DB, DBO, PPP).
• Municipal water/wastewater project experience and staff oversight.
• Experience authoring technical articles and presenting at conferences.
• Active professional organizations and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Water/wastewater facilities design and planning projects.
• Water/wastewater operations and startup.
• Hydraulic engineering and network modeling.
• SDWA regulations-related consulting.
• Lead client service and relationship management with municipal clients; business development.
• Direct staff supervision and performance management.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budgets on projects over $200K; coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
