Job summary

GeoWorld is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Water/Wastewater Design Engineer based in Lakewood, Colorado. This position will join a multidisciplinary team to work on water and wastewater treatment projects impacting communities nationwide.

Key responsibilities include the design of treatment facilities, collaboration with various professionals, and preparation of engineering documentation. Candidates should have at least 7 years of related experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Experience preparing engineering design packages for infrastructure projects.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of water treatment facilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on projects.
• Prepare process and instrumentation diagrams in accordance with standards.
• Perform engineering analyses and develop design drawings.
• Support fieldwork and construction-phase services.

Skills

Planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects

Technical writing and communication skills

Collaboration in multidisciplinary teams

Hydraulic analysis and equipment sizing

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental)

Advanced degree in Engineering
