Job summary

Langan seeks a Senior Project Engineer/Manager - Mission Critical Water and Wastewater to lead national water strategy initiatives for data center clients. You will mentor staff, manage multi-region teams, drive due diligence, sourcing strategies, and permit compliance while partnering with leadership to grow the practice nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred; PE/CHMM certifications encouraged.
• Experience: 12+ years in environmental field; 5+ years in project management within consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead water due diligence for data center developments; assess source water availability and regulatory constraints.
• Develop and implement water sourcing strategies across municipal, groundwater, surface, and reuse resources.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water and wastewater infrastructure planning and regulatory compliance.
