Job summary

The City of Westminster, CO is seeking an Electrician II/III to perform inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater equipment and automated controls. Licensure requirements depend on level, with overtime, weekend duty, and on-call responsibilities included.

Responsibilities include coordinating field maintenance tasks, maintaining system reliability, and ensuring safety in a heavy operational environment, under guidance from the Plant Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• State of Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrical license required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance and repair of hydraulic pumps, motors, and process controls related to water/wastewater.
• Starting as Electrician II requires a Journeyman Electrical license; starting as Electrician III requires a Master Electrical license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair water/wastewater pumps, motors, and process controls.
• Maintain and repair lift stations, storage tanks, and three-phase motor control centers.
• Coordinate field maintenance with the Plant Maintenance Supervisor and ensure safety compliance.
