Job summary

The City of Westminster is seeking an Electrician II/III to perform maintenance and repair of water and wastewater treatment equipment, pumps, and automated controls. The role requires a Journeyman Electrical license or Master Electrical license and a valid Colorado driver license.

On-call duties, overtime, and weekend shifts are included. Starting as Electrician II or III depends on qualifications; the city offers multilingual stipends and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance of water/wastewater equipment and controls.
• Coordinate field maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Safety compliance and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of water/wastewater equipment and automated controls.
• Inspect and repair motor control centers and associated pumps, valves and instrumentation.
• Assist Plant Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring outside contractors and ensuring compliance.
