Job summary

The City of Westminster is seeking a skilled Electrician II/III to perform inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater treatment equipment, pumps, and lift stations. The role requires a Journeyman Electrical license (or reciprocal) to start as Electrician II or a Master Electrical license for Electrician III, with overtime and on-call duties as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Possession of a State of Colorado journeyman or master electrical license (or reciprocal).
• Minimum three years of experience in maintenance and repair of hydraulic pumps, motors, and process controls for water/wastewater.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair water/wastewater treatment process equipment, pumps, and lift stations.
• Maintain and repair process controls, motors, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with Plant Maintenance Supervisor and outside contractors to ensure compliance and safety.
