Job summary

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or environmental science and at least five years of managing water/wastewater operations, including four years supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or environmental science from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of experience overseeing operations of a water/wastewater utility, including four years in supervision.
• Knowledge of water and waste water utility administration.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees division activities within surface water management, utility maintenance, or engineering.
• Manages personnel, including training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
• Develops and enforces division goals, policies, and cost-effective operations.
