Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a senior program manager who will lead complex water and wastewater projects from strategy through handover. You will build strong client relationships, manage contracts, and oversee design and construction teams across multiple sites.

The role requires 15+ years in project management, deep knowledge of construction principles, and strong scheduling and cost-control skills. A flexible work model includes remote and onsite collaboration with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or equivalent experience is required.
• 15+ years of experience providing project/program management services.
• Experience in managing the full construction project life cycle including pre-construction, design phases, and oversight of constructability reviews.
• Knowledge of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, and principles.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Project or Primavera are required.

Responsibilities

• You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with clients to pre-position for new work and manage contractual requirements.
• You'll lead business development, including writing proposals for water and wastewater pursuits.
• You’ll provide ongoing staff support across all project phases including cost and schedule management.
• You’ll oversee coordination of all project activities on sites, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• You’ll maintain clear communications with clients, contractors, and stakeholders through reports and meetings.
• You’ll manage planning, budgeting and scheduling to meet deadlines within budgets.
