Kennedy Jenks is seeking a National Water Treatment Technical Expert to lead technical strategy, client-facing support, and complex water quality initiatives. You will guide process design, evaluate operations, and mentor staff across national water projects.

The role emphasizes advanced treatment, reuse, and optimization with opportunities to impact communities and collaborate with our Applied Research Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• At least 15 years of drinking water treatment engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for municipal drinking water treatment and water reuse initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with municipal and private-sector water clients; lead pursuit strategies.
• Process design for feasibility studies, facility plans, and process pilot testing for complex water projects.
• Advise preliminary process design and basis of design reports for complex water projects.
• Guide development and quality control of PFDs, design criteria, and P&IDs.
• Evaluate process performance and operations optimization of existing facilities.
• Collaborate with research groups and cross-disciplinary teams on water treatment projects.
