Job summary

Hatteras Capital Advisors is seeking a Project Manager with water treatment experience to lead planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects.

The ideal candidate holds a North Carolina PE license and has 5–15+ years of relevant municipal water/wastewater project experience, with strong leadership and client interaction skills. Opportunities for career growth and skilled mentorship are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must have valid North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5–15+ years of water/wastewater project experience (water treatment plant design and municipal utility infrastructure).
• Experience presenting at conferences is a plus; relationships with municipalities/agencies are a plus; active in professional associations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, design, and construct water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Lead multiple water treatment projects including treatment, distribution, and storage.
• Manage budgets, schedules, QA/QC, proposals, and presentations; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Engage in business development and client interaction; mentor junior staff and supervise drawings/specifications/bid packages.
