Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District is seeking a Water Plant Operator III to oversee the operation, monitoring and maintenance of water facilities in North Texas. You will ensure water quality, regulatory compliance, and safe, reliable service to two million residents.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Must hold Texas Class B Water Treatment Operator's License.
• Minimum five years of water treatment experience; relevant education considered.
• Valid Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab tests and adjust chemical dosing as required.
• Maintain logs and reports, and coordinate with maintenance teams.
