Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Design Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater design and construction efforts in Southern California. This role combines project management, client management, and hands-on technical leadership to deliver complex water projects.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience, a California PE license, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The position emphasizes staff development, client growth, and collaboration across the Resilience Water

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in design management for water/wastewater projects.
Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead design and construction of municipal water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and distribution systems.
Oversee project delivery, schedule, and budget.
Mentor engineers and designers, supervise staff, and develop the team.
Support business development and maintain client relationships.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and ensure Arcadis standards.
