Arcadis is seeking a dynamic Principal Water Treatment Planning Engineer/Manager to join the Resilience Water Planning Practice in Southern California. This role leads water quality and treatment planning projects, guides long-term strategy, and mentors a team of planners, engineers, and scientists.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, MBA, or related field preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Water Quality and Treatment Planning: Direct water and recycled water quality and treatment planning efforts for regulatory compliance and long-term resilience.
• Lead Water and Recycled Water Treatment Improvements and Operations: Evaluate existing infrastructure, plan improvements, and assist with start-up and commissioning.
• Represent Clients/Utilities during Design and Construction: Act as Owner’s Agent, review designs, develop performance guarantees, and support start-up activities.
• Strategic Advisory & Policy Support: Provide leadership on water policy, climate adaptation, and sustainability initiatives.
• Support Business Development: Collaborate with Area Managers to pursue strategic opportunities and maintain client relationships.
• Project Leadership & Delivery: Oversee multidisciplinary planning projects, ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Capital & Asset Planning: Develop capital improvement plans with lifecycle costing and risk-based prioritization.
• Professional Leadership: Engage with professional associations and thought leadership.
• Develop and Inspire Talent: Mentor water planning professionals and foster a growth-oriented team culture.
• Travel up to 20% across Southern California for meetings and project activities.
