Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL Group is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer in Goleta, CA. You will partner with customers and sales teams to oversee projects from design to after-sales service, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.

You will perform membrane process simulations, analyze competitive offerings, and lead customer engagements, training, and field support. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Environmental, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in plant operation, construction, or membrane tech.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer projects from design through commissioning and operation.
• Perform performance simulations using UF/RO/NF software to optimize designs.
• Analyze competitor products and position MANN+HUMMEL solutions effectively.
• Gather technical requirements from customers and provide design recommendations.
