Job summary

RPI Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater SCADA & Controls Engineer to support CLNC Public Works FRCS/EMCS/ICS-OT at Camp Lejeune, NC. Responsible for reliability, cybersecurity, and documentation of OT systems including SCADA/HMI, PLCs, RTUs, telemetry, and instrumentation.

The role collaborates with Public Works, cybersecurity, engineers, operators, maintenance, and contractors to ensure secure, reliable water and wastewater utilities operations. U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting ICS/SCADA/OT in water/wastewater or similar utilities.
• Knowledge of relational databases and process historians.
• Experience updating PLCs, HMIs, SCADA platforms and control equipment.
• Calibrating and troubleshooting field instrumentation.
• Understanding electrical fundamentals and reading schematics/PDs/blueprints.
• Ability to work with operators, engineers, cybersecurity staff, and contractors.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain SCADA/HMI systems and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, SCADA servers, and comms infrastructure.
• Monitor process data, telemetry, alarms, and performance indicators.
• Calibrate and maintain instrumentation and control loops.
• Maintain system reliability via data validation, reports, and histores.
• Support OT cybersecurity activities per standards and RMF/NIST.
• Review and maintain electrical drawings, P&IDs, and network diagrams.
• Validate PLC logic, HMI changes, firmware updates, and tests.
• Coordinate with Public Works, engineering, cybersecurity, and contractors.
• Provide guidance and training on SCADA operations and alarms.
