The role emphasizes project management, stakeholder communication, and CAD work, with opportunities to engage in living shoreline and stormwater initiatives as part of a broader environmental program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or biological engineering or related discipline.
• EIT certification.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with stream restoration design.
• Experience with wetland mitigation design.

Responsibilities

• Stream restoration design, project/construction drawings.
• Stream assessment and monitoring.
• Stream restoration construction oversight.
• Wetland mitigation design, project/construction drawings.
• Wetland mitigation assessment and monitoring.
• Wetland mitigation construction oversight.
• Coordinating approvals for wetland and stream projects.
• Hydrologic watershed analysis (HEC-HMS, TR-55).
• Hydraulic analysis (HEC-RAS).
• Project management with client and public interaction.
• Preparing presentations for hearings and client review.
• Autodesk CAD work.
