Job summary

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking an experienced civil/environmental/biological engineering project manager with a passion for ecological restoration of wetlands and streams. The role focuses on stream restoration, wetlands mitigation, and may include living shoreline and stormwater management.

Responsibilities include design, assessment, monitoring, and construction oversight, coordinating approvals with agencies, and presenting to hearings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or biological engineering or related discipline is required.
• EIT certification is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in wetland/stream projects.
• Experience with stream restoration design and wetland mitigation design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modelling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 1D, TR-55).

Responsibilities

• Lead stream restoration design and produce project/construction drawings.
• Perform stream assessment and monitoring.
• Oversee stream restoration construction activities.
• Lead wetland mitigation design and documentation.
• Coordinate approvals with Federal, State, and local agencies.
• Conduct hydrologic/hydraulic analyses (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TR-55).
• Manage projects with clients and public interactions.
