Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior integrated water resources planner or engineer to join our Water Resources team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and technical expertise in integrated planning for water supply, flood risk management, and related projects.

Responsibilities include directing planning and compliance projects, preparing documents, and leading teamwork. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. HDR offers competitive compensation between $100,000 and $195,000, along with a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Experience with federal plan formulation requirements.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and research abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct medium-to-large planning and environmental compliance projects.
• Prepare and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct work of others to complete studies and reports.
• Demonstrate public participation and agency coordination experience.
