Job summary

naturaldes is seeking licensed PE Water Resources, Fluvial Engineers at project and senior levels to support river, wetland, and shoreline restoration in Washington state.

Locations include Seattle, Bellingham, or Port Angeles, with remote work possible for qualified candidates who reside in Washington. The roles require PE licensure and 4–10 years (Project) or 10+ years (Senior), with strong design, CAD, hydrologic analyses, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering; MS/PhD preferred for senior roles.
• PE license required for both level candidates.
• Experience with hydraulic/hydrologic models and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead design and technical analysis for projects.
• Lead and innovate technical solutions for complex challenges.
• Oversee CAD operations and ensure high-quality design deliverables.
• Lead hydrologic analysis and develop complex calculations and specs.
• Lead field data collection with accurate documentation.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations; mentor junior staff.
• Manage projects, timelines, and stakeholder relations.
