Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Water Resource Discipline Lead to join our team in New Jersey. The candidate will build and lead the PA/NJ Water Resources group, oversee hydrologic/hydraulic studies, drainage and stormwater management for major transportation projects and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 15+ years of water resources experience with NJDOT/NJTA, NJ PE licensure or eligibility, and strong leadership, project management, and client communication skills to deliver

Qualifications

• 15+ years of water resources experience focused on NJDOT/NJTA projects.
• NJ Professional Engineer license or eligible via reciprocity within 6 months.
• Experience leading design teams and managing multi-discipline projects.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater regulations and hydraulic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the PA/NJ Water Resources team, including design management.
• Lead hydrologic/hydraulic studies, drainage and stormwater systems design.
• Oversee environmental permits and construction documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and permitting agencies.
• Mentor junior staff and manage client communications and schedules.
