Job description

Step into a fully remote and high‑impact role with an award‑winning engineering firm recognized for excellence in design and innovation. As a Senior Water Resources / Hydraulics Engineer, you’ll lead complex hydrologic and hydraulic modeling efforts, shape stormwater and flood‑mitigation strategies, guide multidisciplinary teams, and influence projects.

The job:
  • Lead and deliver complex water‑resources and hydraulics projects, from early analysis through final design
  • Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models (HEC‑RAS 1D/2D, HEC‑HMS, SWMM, HY‑8) and produce complete design packages, calculations, and technical documentation
  • Oversee stormwater management, floodplain analysis, watershed hydrology, and infrastructure design
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across local, state, and federal permitting processes
  • Participate in client, regulatory, and design‑team meetings, presenting technical findings
  • Mentor and direct engineering staff
