Job summary

AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. in Henderson, NV, seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer Group Lead to supervise staff and manage flood control, drainage, and FEMA-focused projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead hydrologic and hydraulic modelling efforts, coordinate with clients and other disciplines, and oversee design production, schedules, and budgets. A PE license and a BS/MS in Civil Engineering with 15+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires B.S./M.S. in Civil Engineering with PE license.
• Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic design in arid regions is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience and proven leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers in development of design concepts.
• Manage drainage/flood control design tasks on large, inter-disciplinary projects and be project manager for local projects/studies.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and other disciplines; review productions and ensure quality control.
