Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead complex drainage and hydrologic analyses for transportation, energy, utilities, and ports across North America. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with multiple design centers on design-build and CM/GC projects.

The role requires an active PE, 15 years of experience in water resources and drainage, strong communication, and a track record of delivering safe, cost-effective designs.

Qualificações

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Water Resources (or similar).
• Minimum of 15 years design experience in drainage, water resources, hydraulics or hydrology in U.S. transportation or land development projects.
• Active PE license is required.
• Experience mentoring others - training on advanced topics and workflows.
• Alternative delivery/ Design-Build experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with flood risk analysis and NFIP CLOMR/LOMR.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Stormwater Design on transportation, energy, utilities and ports projects.
• Mentor teams responsible for drainage design, water quality, hydrologic analysis and reports.
• Lead design areas such as hydraulics, drainage, culverts, storm systems and erosion control.
• Produce/design plans, specifications, estimates, and act as Engineer of Record for final design.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary design to ensure compatible drainage elements.
• Develop project communications and lead technical meetings to resolve issues.
• Oversee and mentor mid-level and junior staff on projects.
• Lead a team of experienced staff and promote professional development.
• Oversee preliminary design concepts and conduct QC reviews.
