Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers seeks a Water Resources Engineer to support drainage and water resources design for major transportation infrastructure across North America. You will work with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, drainage design, and reports as part of a collaborative team.

You will contribute to projects across North America, learning from experienced engineers and utilizing tools like OpenRoads, ArcGIS, and Civil3D in a growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering
EIT or FE required
2+ years drainage/hydrology/water resources design experience
Design-Build project experience preferred
Software Modeling experience in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Arc-GIS, GEOPAK, Inroads, Civil3D, OpenRoads, HydroCAD
Drainage/Hydrology software experience in HEC-RAS, HEC-GEORAS, HY-8, CulvertMaster, StormCAD, CivilStorm, PondPack, FlowMaster

Responsibilities

Support drainage and water resources engineering efforts for North America transportation projects.
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and prepare reports, memos, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with design centers and project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Develop drainage plans, profiles, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
Utilize OpenRoads/InRoads, ArcGIS, and other platforms for terrain and drainage layouts.
