Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a client-focused civil engineer to join our water resources team in California.

The role involves leading design for flood risk reduction, water conveyance, and dam/hydropower rehabilitation projects, with responsibilities spanning project management, technical leadership, and client relations. The ideal candidate will have a PE license, a civil/geological engineering degree, and 8+ years of relevant experience, including CA-specific knowledge and strong mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering from an accredited program.
• PE license in any state with ability to obtain CA within 12 months of start date.
• Strong experience leading multi-discipline civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager or project engineer on complex multi-discipline projects.
• Mentor junior staff and serve as technical resource.
• Review and approve final plans with professional engineering seals for multiple projects.
