Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking a client-focused civil engineer to join its water resources team in Wisconsin. The role involves analyzing dams, hydropower facilities, floodplains, and conveyance systems while developing construction documents and costs.

You will lead project staff, perform QA/QC, and manage client communications. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, at least four years of hydrology/hydraulics experience, and a PE license or ability to obtain one within 12

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least four (4) years of relevant hydrology & hydraulics experience.
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in CA or WI within twelve (12) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing dam and hydropower facilities, water conveyance systems, levee systems, bridges/culverts, watersheds and floodplains.
• Construction document and cost development.
• Writing reports.
• Directing activities of other project staff.
• Quality control reviews.
• Project management.
• Client communication.
• Designing water resources and other civil engineering projects.
