Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc is seeking a highly motivated hydromechanical engineer to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. The successful candidate will lead mechanical engineering projects related to water resources, including water pumping and piping systems.

To qualify, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, have at least eight years of experience with rotating equipment, and possess a PE license. Our benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a comprehensive 401K plan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with rotating equipment, hydro plants, or pump stations.
• PE license in any state; ability to obtain in California within six months.
• Experience in a utility power plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as project engineer, technical lead, or project manager for water resources projects.
• Prepare and review technical reports and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and engage in client interactions.
