A leading engineering firm in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager with over 7 years of experience. The successful candidate will lead engineering tasks for transportation projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of water resources related experience including plan and report production.
• Experience in storm drainage, SWM, floodplain, and bridge hydraulic modeling with commonly used software.

Responsibilities

• Lead water resources engineering tasks for transportation-related projects.
• Complete calculations, reports, and plans in support of transportation projects.
• Obtain permit approvals from state and local agencies.

Skills

Hydrology and hydraulic modeling

CADD experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads

Excellent organizational skills

Communication skills

Education

BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Water Resources

Virginia or Maryland Professional Engineer license
