Woolpert seeks a Sr. Stormwater Site/Civil Engineer to join the Water Team in Virginia. You will contribute to water resources design, drainage, and site civil work while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a VA PE license or the ability to obtain quickly, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and hydrologic modeling. Base pay varies by knowledge and experience; EEO committed.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Biosystems, or related engineering.
• Virginia PE license or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Proficient in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software such as Hydraflow or HydroCad.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage tasks and personnel.

Mansioni

• Support phases of Site/Civil projects for energy clients in Virginia.
• Design stormwater and erosion and sediment control to meet regs.
• Prepare permitting documents for zoning and NPDES approvals.
• Lead junior team members and ensure deliverables meet scope and budget.
• Delegate tasks and perform QA/QC on team outputs.
• Manage project phases to meet QA/QC standards.
• Perform field work and attend public meetings as needed.
• Analyze information and present to clients.
• Meet internal/external deadlines and communicate delays.
• Support development of stormwater design with regulatory compliance.
