Job summary

Join Farnsworth Group, Inc. as a Water Resources Engineer leading a range of water resources projects. You will guide technical delivery, mentor staff, and manage client relationships and project financials to support practice growth.

The role emphasizes leading project delivery, coordination with leadership on opportunities, and developing proposals and scopes. A PE license and extensive water resources experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering.
• 15+ years experience in engineering field (or advanced degree).
• Professional Engineering License.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water resources projects from inception to completion.
• Provide technical and project leadership and mentor staff.
• Oversee client relationships and project financials.
• Support growth of the water resources practice via business development.
• Lead proposal development including fees, scope, and coordinating subconsultants.
• Coordinate with leadership on opportunities, budgeting, and staffing needs.
• Perform QA/QC on hydrology/hydraulics models and analyses.
• Review floodplain and drainage studies and prepare reports.
