Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to join our team in Missouri.

You will manage and design water and wastewater projects from planning through construction, and work with a multi-disciplinary team and clients. Candidates should have a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS preferred), 8–15 years of relevant experience, PE license, and experience with WaterCAD/InfoWater/EPANET.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of Water/Wastewater Process Engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of chemistry and biology for treatment processes.
• Team player able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with WaterCAD/InfoWater/EPANET/GPSx preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and design a variety of water and wastewater projects from planning through design, permitting, and construction
• Design water transmission and distribution systems
• Work directly with clients and a multi-disciplinary design team to manage projects
• Assist with business development activities and preparation of proposals
• Planning studies and reports for the evaluation of project alternatives and condition assessments
• Modeling for water and sanitary sewer systems
• Booster pump station and lift station design
• Involvement with regulatory strategies and negotiations with permitting
